10th October is the seventh day of Navratri Durga Puja. On this day, Goddess Durga is worshipped in the form of Goddess Kalratri. Worship Shiva and Shakti on this day. Recite Durgasaptashati. Chant the name of the Goddess. 9 recitations of Siddhikunjikastotra are meritorious. The merit of Navratri fast is unbroken, this fast destroys the sins of many births. To attain the desired result, take a pledge and recite Durgasaptashati or get it recited. It is better to seek the devotion of Goddess Durga. This is permanent. Devotion is useful in many births. Do worship Shiva. Do recite Saptashloki Durga 108 or 9 times. Chant the 108 names of Goddess Durga. Ashtami will start after 12:31 pm on this day. But there will be no Ashtami fast on this day. As Udaya Tithi is on 11th October, Ashtami will be observed on 11th October only. So, Ashtami with Saptami is not valid. Hence, Ashtami will not be celebrated on October 10.
