An investigation committee of the UP Health Department has been formed in connection with the fire incident at Jhansi Medical College. A 4-member committee has been formed under the chairmanship of DG Medical Education. The investigation committee will submit a detailed investigation report of the case in the next 7 days. An official order has been issued by the Uttar Pradesh government regarding this.

What things will the committee investigate

Partha Sarthi Sen Sharma, Principal Secretary of Medical Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Department? Ent of Uttar Pradesh, issued a notification on Saturday to constitute a four-member inquiry committee under the chairmanship of Director General of the Medical Education and Training Department in connection with the this incident. According to the he notification, the committee constituted to investigate the incident of fire in Jhansi Medical College will investigate on three points. Under this, the committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of identifying the primary cause of the fire, any kind of negligence or fault and giving recommendations to prevent such incidents in future.

Who's on the committee

Under the chairmanship, of the Director General of Medical Education and Training the g Department, officers nominate? Ed by the the  Director (Health)of of  Medical Health Services, the additional Director, of Electrical Medical Health Services anthe the d Director General of Fire Services has been included in the committee. The Principal Secretary has expected , the investigation committee to provide its investigation report to the government within a week.

There was a fire in Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College

Ten infants died in a fire at the Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College in the Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday night. Officials said that 16 other children were injured in the accident the t are battling for their lives. District Magistrate (DM) Avinash Kumar told reporters that a fire broke out in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College at around 10:45 pm on Friday night, which was probably caused by a short circuit. Post-mortem of seven children was conducted amid tight security in Jhansi on Saturday. Post-mortem of three children could not be conducted as their parents could not be identified.
