Gurugram: A Gurugram court has sentenced a man to 20 years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 40,000 on him for raping a 13-year-old girl four years ago. In 2020, the Gurugram police had arrested Mamnu Miyan, a native of South Dinajpur district of West Bengal, for raping the girl.
A police spokesperson said that the court of Additional Sessions Judge Ashwini Kumar on Tuesday sentenced the accused to 20 years imprisonment and also imposed a fine on him.
