Adani Total Gas : The net profit of Adani Total Gas Limited, a joint venture (JV) of Adani Group and French energy giant Total Energies, has increased by six percent to Rs 178 crore in the July-September quarter of the current financial year. Its net profit was Rs 168 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year (2023-24).

The company said in a statement on Thursday that this was mainly due to the benefit of a eduction in gas prices due to good growth in the supply of CNG and piped cooking gas (PNG). Due to higher sales during the period under review, the company's operating income increased by 12 percent to Rs 1,315 crore. The company's income before tax increased by eight percent to Rs 313 crore.

ATGL Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suresh P. Manglani said, "We now serve over nine lakh consumers seamlessly through pipes. We have started our first LNG station for the transport segment. We are moving towards covering major highway networks to contribute to India's carbon-free initiative." On the recent reduction in APM gas allocations to supply vehicle CNG and domestic PNG consumers, ATGL said it is closely monitoring the situation.
