Kala Azar Disease : Once again a dangerous disease has knocked on the door of the country. A 'Kala Azar' patient has been found in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. If the health department is to be believed, a patient of this disease has been seen for the first time in almost 20 years. Symptoms of this disease have been found in a 17-year-old boy of Lucknow. After which the health department has come on alert. The health department in Lucknow has sprayed insecticides around the patient's house. However, the patient has no travel history, which can be said that this disease has reached us from some other country.

According to the report of Times of India, a case of Kala Azar disease has recently come to light in Triveni Nagar area of Lucknow. The age of the patient is said to be just 17 years. According to the doctors, he has been having mild fever for more than a month. Lucknow Medical College said in the report that the patient is currently stable and is being treated at home. A team of Health Department and WHO reached the patient's house on Tuesday and checked him up. After which a micro plan to prevent the disease has been activated in that area.
What is Kala Azar disease?
Kala Azar is a very serious disease caused by Leishmania parasite. Talking about the cases of this disease, it is mainly found in the Middle East, Africa, India and South America. Although now cases of this disease are not reported in India, but this case after 20 years has shocked the health department.
Symptoms of Kala Azar
