Noida Crime : In Noida, a husband strangled his wife to death and absconded after locking her body in the house. The neighbours informed the police after a foul smell emanated from the house. The police reached the spot, broke the door, took the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Meanwhile, the absconding accused husband is being searched for.

What is the whole matter?

Actually, in Salarpur village of Noida, the husband strangled his wife to death. He fled leaving her body on the bed of the room. The body remained on the bed for a day. The neighbours informed the police when they smelled the stench. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived and broke the door and entered the house. The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The woman's husband works as a mechanic.

There was often a fight between the two.

DCP Ram Badan Singh said that Mistri Anand lived in a rented room with his wife in Salarpur. There was a fight between the two over some issues. After this Anand strangled his wife to death. Neighbours said that there was often a fight between the two.

Police engaged in investigation.

The DCP said that on Friday, Lala alias Ranveer of the village called and informed about the foul smell coming from the room. When the police reached the spot and broke the door, they saw that the body of the woman was lying on the bed inside. Anand was absconding. He said that Anand is a resident of Chhatarpur village. A team from Sector-39 police station has been formed to arrest him. There are marks on the woman's neck. The forensic team has also collected evidence from the spot.
