Congress raised questions
Congress state president Nana Patole has raised many questions by tweeting. He said- The trustees of the school have not been arrested in the Badlapur rape case, they are still absconding, why have they not been arrested yet? Is the encounter of the main accused an attempt to end the case to save the absconding accused? Has the encounter been done by the police to suppress the case? The truth of this case should come out and it should be investigated by a High Court judge.
Devendra Fadnavis' clarification
Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said- "His (Akshay Shinde) ex-wife has filed a complaint of sexual assault, and police were taking him for investigation with a warrant. He snatched the police's gun and fired at the policemen and also in the air. Police fired at him in self-defense. He was taken to the hospital. Doctors will announce it later but according to the preliminary information we have, he has died. The opposition questioned everything, and the same opposition demanded to hang him. If he had attacked the police, would the police not have done self-defense? It is wrong to make an issue out of it."
