Anil Ambani : Anil Ambani's BSES has launched a new initiative to provide temporary electricity connections within 24 hours. This service aims to reduce the use of generators during festivals, fairs, and weddings, reduce pollution, and help prevent power theft. Consumers can apply for connections through customer service centers, WhatsApp, or digital service centers. BSES has launched the 'Tatkal' scheme to provide temporary electricity connections on the same day (connection on the same day of application) in Delhi to celebrate the festival with pomp and reduce pollution ahead of the festive season.

Challenge in front of Tata and Adani Group

This new scheme of Anil Ambani's company can pose a challenge to Tata Power of Tata Group and Adani Power of Gautam Adani's Adani Group and other power companies. Adani Power is an Indian multinational power and energy company.

It operates in various states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rand ajasthan. However, Tata Power-DDL has also launched 'the Tatkal' scheme to provide same-day temporary electricity connections ahead of the festive season.

There will be a reduction in noise and air pollution

BSES's 'Tatkal' connections are a permanent option for diesel generators, which will reduce noise and air pollution. The statement said that these temporary connections are ccost-effectiveand safe.

This initiative will reduce the waiting period for a new connection from seven days to a few hours. Power supply company BSES said that rrealizingthe importance of reliable power supply during the festive season, it has put its operations and maintenance teams on high alert.
