Fresh and seasonal fruits: Consuming seasonal and fresh fruits in the sargi of Karva Chauth fast keeps the health good and gives energy in the fast, which can help in completing the fast. But do not eat too many sour fruits.

Consume dry fruits and nuts in abundance. Consume different types of dry fruits in the fasting sargi as these are rich in protein, fat, and vitamins and provide complete nutrition to women as well as their children.

Drink milk, juice, and coconut water

During fasting, one feels very thirsty, therefore women can hydrate themselves by drinking milk, juice, and coconut water. The minerals found in these beverages do not allow water deficiency in the body.

Eat whole grains

3. Do not eat oily and spicy food

Women often eat spicy and oily food in the sargi eaten before the fast, which they should not eat because such food can cause acidity and heartburn in the stomach and can cause stomach pain. Women should take a balanced diet and eat and drink light food.

4. Don't eat and drink only sweets
