New Delhi: A jaunt between Delhi and Agra was suddenly disrupted on Wednesday morning as a dense fog cover caused many vehicles to crash into each other near Tappal. The incident caused three individuals to sustain significant injuries and 100 goats to die. The police also further reported that the weather’s poor visibility was primarily responsible for the havoc as dense fog obscured their vision.

One of the many trucks involved in the crash was transporting around 230 goats.  The collision involved three trucks and inflicted damage to six vehicles in total. First responders and emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene to mediate efforts, however, the event raised concerns regarding driving under such low visibility conditions in the future.

Following the resources, the event drew attention to how dense fog can obscure sprawling vehicular traffic, resulting in severe accidents and injuries, cautioning people dwelling in those conditions to keep their safety on their minds. The authorities have reported that an investigation is already underway regarding the event to confirm details.

“The injured individuals have been admitted to a nearby hospital,” said a police official, confirming all further-resources were deployed and the parameters were ensured.

In a related accident that occurred in Muzaffarnagar nearly two civilians especially a truck driver got seriously injured as 15 cars crashed into each other near the Jansath flyover of Dehradun National Highway around the same time.

Dense fog caused major disruption throughout the region, causing both traffic and public visibility issues until midday.

As per Police reports, several trucks collided in Muzaffarnagar due to dense fog, which caused near nil visibility on the roads. The report further mentioned that more than 15 vehicles ended up colliding on the highway after the initial collision.

Police Circle Officer Rupali Rao further added in their statement that authorities reached the scene of the accident as soon as the reports came in and provided emergency assistance.

She further added; "Two ignorant individuals were moved to a district hospital for urgent medical attention”. After the haunted highway was restored, vehicles were able to freely move without any disturbances or problems.
