After the engine of the plane failed, the pilot landed the plane in the water. The plane crashed while landing in water, however, all the Air Force personnel and pilots are said to be safe. Due to the presence of mind of the pilot, a major plane accident was averted.

Where did the Air Force plane crash?

Initial information came that an army helicopter crashed into the water near Besi Bazar of Ghanshyampur Panchayat of Aurai block of Muzaffarpur. After this, Pratyay Amrit said in a statement that the pilot and injured soldiers were being sent to SKMCH for treatment. All Air Force personnel and pilots are safe. The SDRF team started the rescue operation as soon as the crash happened.

An Indian Air Force (IAF) ALH helicopter engaged in flood relief operations in the Sitamarhi sector of Bihar made a precautionary landing in a flooded area due to a technical problem. All crew members are reported to be safe, there is no damage to civilian life or property. The IAF has ordered an inquiry to ascertain the cause.
