By Poll 2024: BJP has announced candidates for the by-elections to be held along with the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections. BJP has released the names of 25 candidates for the by-elections. In which candidates have been declared for both Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections. By-elections will be held on November 20 in the Kedarnath assembly seat of Uttarakhand and the Nanded Lok Sabha seat of Maharashtra. Voting will be held on November 13 for 47 assembly seats in the remaining 14 states, including nine seats in Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, votes will also be cast on November 13 for the by-election on Wayanad Lok Sabha seat.

Candidates declared on which seats.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has nominated Navya Haridas for the by-election to the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. She will face Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Apart from this, the party has also announced the names of candidates for Palakkad and Chelakkara assembly seats in Kerala. The BJP has nominated C Krishnakumar from Palakkad and K Balakrishnan from Chelakkara. The party has also released a list of 24 candidates for the assembly by-elections in Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal.

Madhya Pradesh by-poll

Ramniwas Rawat from Vijaypur seat of Madhya Pradesh and Ramakant Bhargava from Budhni have been made candidates for the assembly by-election. Budhni's seat has fallen vacant after the resignation of Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

Rajasthan by-poll

BJP has fielded Rajendra Bhabu from Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan and Sukhwant Singh from Ramgarh. Jagmohan Meena from Dausa, Rajendra Gurjar from Deoli-Uniyara, Revant Ram Danga from Khinvsar, and Shanta Devi Meena from Salubhar (ST) have got tickets.

Chhattisgarh poll

BJP has made Sunil Soni its candidate for the Raipur City South Assembly seat of Chhattisgarh.

Karnataka by-polls

The party has fielded Bharat Basavaraj Bombay from the Shiggaon seat in Karnataka and Bangaru Hanumanthu from Sandur (ST) for the assembly by-elections.

Bihar by-poll

The BJP has given a ticket to Vishal Prashant from the Tarari assembly seat of Bihar and Ashok Kumar Singh from Ramgarh.

Assam by-poll

Nihar Ranjan Das from Dholai (ST) of Assam, Diganta Ghatowar from Behali, and Diplu Ranjan Sharma from Samaguri have been made the candidates by the BJP.

West Bengal by-poll

In West Bengal, Deepak Kumar Rai from Sitai (SC), Rupak Mitra from Nauhati, Rahul Lohar (ST) from Madarihat, Bimal Das from Haroa, Subhajit Rai from Medinipur, Annaya Rai Chakraborty from Taldangra have been made BJP candidates.
