CBSE Board 10th Maths Sample Paper Download: The date sheet for the 10th examination has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). In this series, the next examinations of class 10th are going to start from 15 February 2025. CBSE Board 10th Science exam is to be held on 10 March 2025. Before appearing in this exam, students must check the details related to the exam pattern, marking system, and sample paper.
CBSE Board's 10th sample paper has been released on the official website of the board. According to this sample paper, the 10th Maths paper will be divided into a total of 5 sections. A total of 38 questions will be asked in it. Let's take a look at the sample paper in detail.
CBSE Board 10th Exam Pattern: On which pattern will the Maths exam be conducted?
Section A: CBSE Board 10th Maths exam is going to be conducted for a total of 80 marks. There will be a total of 20 multiple-choice questions in the first section. One mark is allotted for each question. In such a situation, the entire paper consists of 20 questions.
Section B: The second section in the Maths paper will be of short answer questions. There will be a total of 5 questions in it. 2 marks are allotted for each question. Thus, this section will be for a total of 10 marks. In this section, the answer to each question has to be given in 30 to 50 words.
Section C: The third section will come with 6 short questions. In this, three marks are fixed for each question. In this way, the whole section will be for a total of 18 marks. In this section, the answers to the questions have to be written in 50 to 80 words.
Section D: The fourth section in the CBSE Board 10th Maths exam will have 4 long answer questions. 5 marks are allotted for each question. This section will have time-taking questions. This section will be of a total of 20 marks.
Section E: The last section of the paper will have 3 questions. It will have case study-based questions. In this section, 4 marks are allotted for each question. Thus, the entire section will be of 12 marks.
