Committee for 'parenting calendar' for the academic year 2025-26 has been created by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This committee has been formed to address the need for enhanced collaboration between schools and parents.

According to CBSE, it’s purpose of this parenting calendar is to ensure effective communications between teachers and parents. In addition, this calendar will meet other diverse student needs, including adolescents, children with special needs (CWSN), and early/middle age students.

In this way, experts will also be able to provide solutions regarding some events, such as when the results are released, how the students behave, etc. Another goal is also to offer timely assistance and guidance through planned interactions.

The wish chair in the committee will be held Anuradha Joshi, who is currently the Principal of Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Delhi. Nine are serving as Principals in different schools in the country constitute the other members of the committee.

The other members need to attend online or offline meetings, cooperate with the Convener in decision making and participate in preparing the full parenting calendar. The committee has been instructed to submit its recommendations by March 15th, 2025.
