The board termed these claims "baseless and misleading", urging students and parents not to panic over false information spreading on social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).

Exams Conducted Smoothly: The CBSE Board Exams for Classes X and XII, which started on February 15, 2025, will continue until April 4, 2025. The Board assured that all necessary measures are in place to ensure fair and transparent examinations.

No Paper Leaks: CBSE rubbished the rumours of paper leaks, clarifying that such claims are meant to spread panic among students and parents.

Strict Legal Action Against Misinformation:

  • CBSE is actively monitoring those spreading false information.
  • Offenders will face action under CBSE’s Unfair Means rules and Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections.
  • The Board is working closely with law enforcement agencies to track down culprits.

Smooth Conduct of Exams: CBSE Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj, confirmed that the first day of exams (English & Entrepreneurship) was conducted smoothly nationwide.

Class 10 Exams – 7,780 centres | Approx. 23.86 lakh students appeared.
Class 12 Exams – 995 centres | Nearly 23,000 students participated.
