CLAT 2025 Result Revision Update : The Delhi High Court today on Tuesday 24 December 2024 refused to interfere with the order directing the Consortium of National Law Universities to revise the CLAT 2025 Result due to errors in the CLAT 2025 Answer Key. A bench of Acting Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela, while considering the appeal made by the consortium against the decision of a single judge of the High Court, said that no case was made out for an interim order.
The bench prima facie found no error in the approach taken by the single judge with regard to the two questions and clarified that the Association was free to declare the result in accordance with the decision of the single judge.
"The single judge has carefully studied the two questions...prima facie, we agree with the said view," the court said.
"You can go ahead with the result. There is no interim order", it added.
when will be the next hearing
The court has fixed January 7, 2025 as the next date of hearing in the case.
On December 20, a single judge had pronounced its verdict on a plea of a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) aspirant and had declared the answers to two questions in the entrance exam as wrong.
The petition challenged the CLAT 2025 Answer Key released by the association on December 7 and sought directions for declaration of correct answers to certain questions.
The single judge said the errors were "glaringly obvious" and "turning a blind eye to them" would amount to injustice.
