A case of kidnapping, threat and assault has been registered against Ajeet Prasad, son of SP MP Awadhesh Prasad from Ayodhya. A case has also been registered against 5-6 others. The victim Rohit Tiwari has filed a case in Kotwali Nagar. There is an allegation of kidnapping and assault near the State Bank intersection of Kotwali Nagar area. There was a dispute over giving commission in the purchase of land.
It is noteworthy that SP MP Awadhesh Prasad's son Ajit Prasad is a contender from the alliance in the Milkipur assembly by-election. Ajit also works in property dealing, while the victim Rohit Tiwari is a resident of Palia Risali village of Purakalandar police station.
