ICC Board Meeting, Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule: The Board of the International Cricket Council (ICC) will hold a virtual (online) meeting on November 29 to finalize the schedule of the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan in February-March next year. There has been a lot of delay in announcing the schedule of the tournament. The reason for the delay is India's refusal to play in Pakistan given the tense relations between the two countries. India has not toured Pakistan since the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) wants the tournament to be played in a hybrid model in which matches in India are held in a third country. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not yet agreed to this. An ICC spokesperson told PTI on Tuesday, 'The ICC Board will meet on November 29 to discuss the schedule of the Champions Trophy.'

This crucial virtual meeting is taking place two days before BCCI secretary Jay Shah takes over as ICC president on December 1. He and other board members would be keen to resolve the matter before the new office-bearers take charge.

The tournament is to be hosted by Pakistan.

The Champions Trophy is to be held in Pakistan next year i.e. in 2025. 8 teams including host Pakistan, India, and  Australia will play in it. The tournament is expected to start in February-March. However, due to the tussle between the Pakistan Cricket Board, BCCI, and ICC, the schedule has not been announced. In this meeting, Team India's visit to Pakistan, the hybrid model, and other issues will be discussed.
