India is set to kick off their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign on February 20 in Dubai against Bangladesh. The Men in Blue will be aiming for their record third title, and much of their success will depend on senior stars Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja.

All three have displayed good form in the recently concluded England series, but as the tournament approaches, speculation is growing that this could be their final ICC event.

Aakash Chopra Predicts Last ICC Event for Kohli, Rohit & Jadeja

Former India opener Aakash Chopra believes that the Champions Trophy 2025 might be the final ICC tournament for the trio of Kohli, Rohit, and Jadeja.

"I am saying this with a heavy heart… There is a strong possibility. The Champions Trophy is happening, and after that, the only ICC event this year is the WTC Final, where India hasn't qualified. So, none of them will play there," Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

  • The next ICC event is the T20 World Cup 2026, but since all three have retired from T20Is, they won’t be part of it.
  • The ODI World Cup 2027 is two years away, and Chopra believes the cricketing landscape will change significantly by then.
  • "The world will look very different in 2027. I think the players also feel this could be their last," he added.
