New Delhi: On Sunday, Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal remarked that’ Delhi participated in campaigning of this sort once in 2020, and that is what it is this year.’ There is an appeal describing his speech as a personal motive to murder a former chief minister. Kejriwal added ‘My life is for the country, for the society.” The campaigns for the constituency began a week prior to the incident, and were scheduled to run from January 8th to February 16. During the incident, which took place on the 18th of January at 7p.mm during a rally, 4 people were reported to have been injured.

According to local media, three people were taken to Sadar Vallabhbhai Patel All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi with a knife while a few were brought in with porcelain plates. The Aam Aadmi Party has been stage attacks on their rallies as a political campaign strategy and towards other political leaders. On a press notification while addressing the reporters, the AAP leader, recalled: “What occurred on such a day, on a Saturday while there was an attack.. was not supposed to take place and those memories should be buried and forgotten. Such violence and tress has been widely unprecedented in the latter part of the campaign that is severe, Never in the agglomeration has more sparsely been recorded, this year someone attempted to conduct crude assassination on another chief of the metropolitan, instead from AAT faction it was AAP itself, naturally this year instead of social media democratic and even seasoned politicians had their hands over trouble. They are getting desperate because of libido loss and therefore they know how to reverse merge the elections and win.”

Last month, Kejriwal was also a target during a rally held in New Delhi while he was coming back from Israel. This time, Kejriwal contested for a New Delhi member position and for the fourth time.

It has been alleged by the Aam Aadmi Party that the attack was orchestrated on their leader, Arvind, by BJP member, Parvesh Verma’s supporters. Parvesh is running for the New Delhi constituency representing the BJP political party.

On the other hand, Verma from the BJP has disagreed with the allegations Kejriwal made against him. Verma explained that while he was talking to CM Kejriwal, he made a signal to his driver instructing him to run over any individual who dares come close to him for questions. As for the other 3 individuals that were being treated for the injuries they sustained during the altercation that took place on Saturday, they were run over by the car owned by Kejriwal, as Verma explained in his statement.

The vote counting will commence on the February 8th along with the polling that will be conducted on the feb 5th.
