Delhi School Reopens after Pollution Latest News: People are in a bad condition due to severe pollution in the country's capital Delhi and its surrounding areas. The matter of pollution in Delhi-NCR was heard again in the Supreme Court today. During this, the Supreme Court made it clear that the restrictions of GRAP-4 will continue in the national capital and surrounding areas for the time being. At the same time, the Supreme Court has handed over the responsibility of opening the schools to the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM). Let us tell you that this order has been given by the bench of Justice Abhay S Oka and Justice Augustine George Masih.
Lack of features
The Supreme Court directed to consider relaxing the restrictions imposed on physical classes of schools, colleges, and educational institutions under GRAP-4 in Delhi-NCR. The Supreme Court said that many students are not able to avail of mid-day meals and other essential facilities due to the closure of physical classes. A bench of Justices Abhay S. Oka and Justin Augustine George Masih said that a large number of students do not have 'air purifiers' at home, so there cannot be much difference between the air inside and outside the house.
Considering starting physical classes
The court also asked CAQM to consider starting physical classes for class 10th and 12th students as going to school is necessary to prepare for board exams. Let us tell you that last Friday, the parents of the students had filed an application to start physical classes. They said that many families from the lower strata of the society do not have technical facilities, due to which they are deprived of online studies.
