Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat : Vande Bharat Express going from New Delhi to Varanasi stopped between Bharthana and Samho in Etawah district due to a technical fault on Monday morning, due to which passengers had to face trouble. Public Relations Officer of Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway, Amit Singh said that on Monday morning, train number 22436, New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express' engine developed a technical fault, due to which passengers faced many problems. Since the train broke down between the main stations, it took a lot of time to solve this problem.

Passengers sent forward by other trains

He said that this train stopped due to a technical fault between Bharthana-Samho. After this a relief engine reached there at 10:24 and the train was brought to Bharthana station. He said that the passengers of this train were sent to Kanpur through different trains.

Passengers sent to Varanasi by special train

Singh said that a special train was arranged at around 2:45 pm to send the passengers from Kanpur to Varanasi. This train left for Varanasi carrying the passengers of Vande Bharat. During this time, the railways made adequate arrangements keeping in mind all the food and beverage requirements of the passengers.
