Delhi Air Pollution: Delhi's air may soon deteriorate to dangerous levels. With the increase in cold, the Air Quality Index in Delhi is also likely to reach dangerous levels. At the same time, the smoke from stubble and firecrackers burnt during Diwali will further increase air pollution in Delhi. To deal with this problem, the Delhi government wants to resort to artificial rain. The Delhi government will take the help of IIT experts for this. The Delhi government has requested the central government in this regard.

Pollution will be reduced through rain.

Giving information in this regard on Sunday, Delhi's Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that rain plays an important role in controlling air particulate pollution, pollution caused by vehicles, and pollution caused by biomass burning. He said that experts also agree that Delhi's pollution can be reduced through rain.

Pollution increases during Diwali.

After Diwali, the temperature goes down, pollution increases due to the smoke of stubble, and pollution increases due to firecrackers during Diwali. In such a situation, the pollution particles come down. According to Gopal Rai, artificial rain is an effective solution to reduce this pollution in such an emergency situation. Rai says that he had written a letter to the Union Environment Minister on this subject a month ago. In this, he had said that a meeting of all the experts including IIT Kanpur should be called. However, no reply has come to this letter yet.

After this, on October 10, the Delhi government has again sent a letter to the Union Environment Minister in this regard. The Delhi government says that if the pollution level in Delhi is decreasing due to rain, then artificial rain should be used in emergencies. The government says that this technology has come to India at IIT Kanpur and we should use it. The Delhi government believes that with this they will be able to reduce the pollution level in Delhi in winter.

Along with this, strict measures are also being taken to reduce dust in Delhi. Delhi's Environment Minister says that if there are fewer dust particles in Delhi, the air pollution will be less. This is why strict action will be taken against those who spread dust-based pollution from Monday.
