Diwali In Ayodhya 2024 (When is Diwali in Ayodhya in 2024): The Diwali festival is celebrated on the day of Kartik Amavasya. But this year, due to Amavasya falling on both days, people are quite confused about its date. According to some, the Diwali festival should be celebrated on 31 October, while some consider it more appropriate to celebrate this festival on 1 November. Let us tell you on which date Diwali will be celebrated in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama.
When is Diwali in Ayodhya, 31 October or 1 November? (Ayodhya Me Diwali Kab Hai 2024)
Vishwa Hindu Parishad spokesperson Sharad Sharma told India Today TV that the correct date of Diwali is October 31. He said that this year Kartik Amavasya falls on the Chaturdashi date. Hence Diwali will be celebrated on the night of the 31st. On the other hand, Deepotsav, a festival celebrated a day before Diwali, will be celebrated on October 30. Which is an important festival of Ayodhya. On the other hand, Anil Mishra, a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, has also said that the date of Diwali is the 31st.
Why will Diwali be celebrated on 31 October (31 October 2024 Diwali)
This year Amavasya Tithi will start on 31st October at 3:22 PM and will end on 1st November at 5:23 PM. Because on the 1st, Amavasya Tithi will not be able to touch Pradosh and Nishitha Kaal. Therefore, this festival will be celebrated on 31st October. According to the scriptures, it is best to do Diwali Puja on the day when Amavasya Tithi is spread from Pradosh Kaal to Nishitha Kaal. Such a coincidence is happening on 31st October only. However, those who want to do Puja in the office can do it on 1st November as well.
