New Generation Maruti Suzuki Alto : Everyone knows how much Maruti Suzuki's Alto is liked in India. Now what we are telling you is going to make the customers happy. Maruti Suzuki is working on the new generation Alto which is now about to reach its 9th generation. It is estimated that this new car will be launched somewhere in 2027. Media reports have revealed that the weight of the new generation Alto will be about 100 kg less than the current model. This will be a very economical car which will be given full value for money features.
The new car will be 100 Kg lighter.
The current Maruti Suzuki Alto weighs 680 kg and the company is going to reduce its weight by about 100 kg. After this, the weight of this affordable hatchback will be 580 kg. With this much weight, this car will come close to the Suzuki Light car sold in 1970. Its biggest benefit will be on its mileage. Suzuki Japan offers a mild hybrid engine with the car sold there which gives a mileage of 25 to about 28 km/liter. It is believed that its more advanced version will be launched in India.
The price will be lower than before
Suzuki can launch the new generation Alto for 1 million yen which is Rs 5.46 lakh in Indian currency. The new engine can be powered by a 10 kW electric motor, which will contribute 30 percent to the total power of the car. This makes it clear that the 48-volt mild hybrid system will be lightweight and will further improve the performance of the new generation Alto. No official information has been received yet, but it has been learned that the mileage of the 10th-generation Alto will be more than 30 km/liter.
