Meanwhile, the accused who give fake threats of bombs in planes have become a big challenge for the security agencies. The crime branch of Mumbai Police is investigating several fake messages sent through X and Hotmail targeting Indian planes. Officials have contacted X and Hotmail to obtain information about some internet media handles and emails. Security agencies believe that anti-India terrorist organizations sitting abroad may be behind these continuous bomb calls. The threats to planes seem to be linked to Britain, America, and Austria.

Threats are also being received from many fake social media accounts.

According to sources, the criminals responsible for these threats are using highly secure virtual private networks (VPN), which makes it difficult to trace the account. Experts claim that the accused can be arrested only with the cooperation of international partners such as internet media platforms, security agencies, and VPN providers. However, after the threat given on social media on October 14, a minor was caught, who had created a fake account to trap a friend and threaten him. But according to experts, bomb threats are coming in two ways. First through social media accounts, and second by sending direct mail to airlines. Security agencies believe that these threats are being given using foreign VPN accounts and fake names and addresses. According to a media report, intelligence agencies have traced the IP addresses giving threats to blow up planes through social media, in which these IP addresses are being told to be from Germany and London and America, Austria.
