Some women fell down due to some minor mismanagement at the entry gate of the Katha. According to the information, the last five Shiv Mahapuran Kathas were going on in the ground of Partapur and today was the last day. On the last day, the police did not make proper security arrangements. After getting information about the incident, the administration and police team are present on the spot.

On the other hand, City Superintendent of Police Ayush Vikram Singh said in a statement that the information about stampede in Pradeep Mishra's program in Partapur area is false. There has been no stampede. Peace and order is maintained here. Adequate number of policemen are present. Also, an ambulance and hospital team are also deployed here. There are no casualties.

Meerut District Magistrate Deepak Meena said that as per the information, a crowd gathered near the entrance of the Samagam and during this time one or two women fell, who were immediately helped. At present there is no information of any casualties. Adequate security force has been deployed on the spot. When asked about the reports of people being trapped, the District Magistrate clarified, "There is nothing like that. The situation is completely under control. I and the Superintendent of Police had already planned both the arrangements and security deployment by inspecting the venue. Today is the sixth day of the Katha. Some news went viral on social media claiming that there was a stampede in Pandit Pradeep Mishra's Katha being organized in the Partapur police station area and many women and elderly people were buried.
