Himachal Kullu Fire Incident: A massive fire broke out in Tandi village of Banjar Valley in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, in which about 20 wooden houses built in the traditional Khashtkuni style were reduced to ashes. A deity's storehouse was also reduced to ashes in the fire. The estimated loss is about Rs 5 crore, affecting 30 families, in which about 100 people live.

People tried their best to control the fire but within a moment people's homes turned into heaps of ashes.

The scene was horrific, as one wooden house after another went up in flames, causing chaos and panic. Despite the villagers' efforts to control the fire, their houses were reduced to rubble within minutes.

There was no loss of life due to this fire, but as the wooden houses built side by side in the village caught fire one after the other, there was chaos and screaming.
