It is very rare to see in T20 cricket that a batsman performs the feat of hitting more than 10 sixes in a single innings. Not only this, scoring a century in 20 overs cricket is also a very difficult task. But both these feats have been achieved by this dashing batsman in a single match. This batsman not only scored 15 centuries in his innings but also created a stir in the cricket world by scoring a century in less than 35 balls. This batsman is none other than Zimbabwe's dashing all-rounder Sikandar Raza who thrashed the bowlers in a T20I match in Nairobi and created a sensation by scoring a century in just 33 balls.

Sikandar Raza has become the batsman to score the fastest century in T20I in a Full Member Nation. He broke the record of Rohit Sharma and David Miller. Both Rohit and Miller did the great feat of scoring a century in T20I cricket in 35-35 balls in the year 2017. The record for scoring the fastest century in overall T20I cricket is in the name of Sahil Chauhan of Estonia. Sahil scored a century in just 27 balls against Cyprus in June 2024.

Zimbabwe faced Gambia in the match of ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub Regional Africa Qualifier Group B. Zimbabwe, who came to bat first in this match, showed Gambia's bowlers the stars in the daytime. Captain Sikandar Raza scored an unbeaten 133 runs in 43 balls with the help of 15 sixes and 7 fours from Zimbabwe's side. In this way, he created a new record in T20I cricket. Sikandar Raza has become the first batsman from Zimbabwe to score a century in T20I. Before this, no one from Zimbabwe had been able to do this amazing feat.
