Along with this, Sambhal MP Zia ur Rehman Warq and Rampur MP Mohibullah Nadvi were also stopped at the Delhi-Ghazipur border.

The policemen told Muzaffarnagar's SP MP Harendra Malik that he was not allowed to proceed further. The situation would be cleared only after the arrival of the ACP.

Entry of outsiders is banned till December 10
To maintain peace after the violence in Sambhal on November 24, the district administration has extended the ban on the entry of outsiders till December 10. The district administration has also extended the period of prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code from December 1 to December 31. District Magistrate Rajendra Persia said in a statement issued here, "No outsider, any social organization or public representative will enter the district boundary without the permission of the competent authority till December 10."

The District Magistrate said in the order, "If any person tries to spread rumors in a group on social media, the 'group admin' will remove the said post and immediately inform the police about it. Cyber cafes in the district will keep a register in which the names of every customer will be written. No one will burn an effigy at a public place in Sambhal."
The MP asked- why are we being stopped?
This move is important because a delegation of the Samajwadi Party (SP) was to visit Sambhal on Saturday to collect information about the violence. SP MP from Muzaffarnagar Harendra Malik was stopped from coming to Sambhal from Ghaziabad. Malik said, "I do not understand why we are being stopped. Are the opposition leaders, MPs so irresponsible that they cannot be allowed to move within the state?" He said, "Our delegation also includes SP MP from Sambhal Ziaur Rahman Barq and Iqra Hasan from Kairana. What can we do? This government is acting like an autocratic ruler." Meanwhile, the police have cordoned off the residence of SP MP from Moradabad Ruchi Veera.
Akhilesh Yadav blamed the government.

Akhilesh said, "Just like the BJP changes the entire cabinet at once, it should also take real action against the entire administration board in Sambhal, suspending them from top to bottom and accusing them of negligence in conspiracy and dismiss them and also file a case for taking someone's life."
'BJP government is hiding the truth of Sambhal violence'
Samajwadi Party issued a statement saying, "The incident of the government deploying police at the houses of the leaders included in the SP delegation formed to investigate the violence in Sambhal and preventing them from going to Sambhal is highly condemnable and undemocratic. The BJP government is hiding the truth of the Sambhal violence. The SP delegation should be allowed to go to Sambhal." SP state unit president Shyam Lal Pal had said on Friday that a party delegation led by Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Mata Prasad Pandey will go to Sambhal on Saturday on the instructions of party chief Akhilesh Yadav and will submit a report to the party chief after collecting detailed information about the violence that took place there.
Congress delegation will go on December 2
Congress state unit president Ajay Rai told reporters that a Congress delegation will go to Sambhal on December 2 to gather information on the matter. Meanwhile, Mata Prasad Pandey told reporters outside his residence in Lucknow, "Home Secretary Sanjay Prasad called me and requested me not to go to Sambhal. Sambhal's district magistrate also called me and told me that the ban on entry of outsiders in the district has been extended till December 10, so I will now go to the party office and discuss the issue." Pandey said, "This government probably wants to stop me in Sambhal to hide its mistakes because many mistakes will be exposed during our visit." Heavy security has been put in place outside Pandey's residence since Friday night.

A situation of tension arose in Sambhal after the first survey of Jama Masjid was conducted on November 19 on the orders of the court. The petition on which the court gave this order claimed that the place where Jama Masjid is located was once a Harihar temple. After this, violence broke out on November 24 when the mosque was surveyed again. During this time, four people died and 25 others were injured in a clash between the protesters and the police.
