World Test Championship Final Indian Team: The Indian team has to play a two-test match series against Bangladesh. The first match will be played on 19 September. BCCI has announced the squad for the first match. This series is very important for Team India in terms of reaching the final of the World Test Championship. In such a situation, Rohit's army will not want to take Bangladesh lightly at all. On the other hand, Bangladesh's confidence has increased after defeating Pakistan. 

Indian team has to play a total of 10 test matches.

The Indian team is at the top of the points table of the World Test Championship 2023-25. The team has played a total of 9 matches so far, out of which it has won 6 and lost 2. Its PCT is 68.52. The Indian team has to play 10 Test matches against Bangladesh (2 Tests), New Zealand (3 Tests) and Australia (5 Tests) in the coming time. If Team India manages to win the Test series against Bangladesh 2-0, then its PCT will become 74.24, but this will not be enough to reach the final, as it will have 8 matches left. 

Victory in 6 test matches is necessary.

To reach the final of the World Test Championship, the Indian team will have to win 6 out of the 10 Tests at any cost. If India wins six Tests, its PCT will be 64.03 which will be enough to make it to the final. Apart from this, India will also have to keep an eye on the results of other teams. India will have to win five Tests against Bangladesh and New Zealand and one Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at any cost. Then the doors of the WTC final can open for it. In this, India has to play against Bangladesh and New Zealand at home. Team India always performs well at home and has dominated the opposing teams. 

India lost twice in the WTC final

There have been a total of two finals of the World Test Championship so far. Team India has made it to the finals both times, but India had to face defeat once from New Zealand and the second time from Australia. This time, apart from India, Australia is also a strong contender to make it to the WTC final. The Australian team is at number two. The team has won 8 out of 12 Tests and lost three. Its PCT is 62.50.
