For almost a year now, the fitness level of Mohammed Shami has been one of the most discussed issues in regard to his performance for the Team India and also for BCCI. He is primarily invited by India’s selectors for the Champions Trophy 2025. The reason for this is due to him being eligible to receive NCA clearance or being boarded NCA clearance by the SPORTS SCIENCE unit of BCCIs centre of excellency.

It appears that Mohammed Shami will most likely not be selected for the five-match T20I series set to take place in England, which starts from January 22. On the bright side, he will be replaced by Arshdeep Singh, who is set to head the bowling squad in the series, as both Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah will be absent. Moreover, it’s expected that Arshdeep will be part of the team for the ODI series and Champions Trophy later on.

Jasprit Bumrah Likely To miss ODI Series And CT 2025 Group Stage 

In some unfortunate news, RevSportz cites that It’s very likely Jasprit Bumrah will not be playing against England in the T20I ODI series starting on February 9.
