The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is set to begin its Class 10 ICSE Board Exams 2025 today. The first paper, English Language (Paper 1), will commence at 11:00 AM and will last for two hours.

To ensure a smooth examination process, the board has issued important guidelines that all students must follow.

Key Exam Day Instructions for ICSE Students

Reporting & Reading Time

Arrive early – Students must be seated in the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the exam begins.
Reading time – In addition to the writing time, students will get 15 minutes to read the question paper.
For 11 AM exams – Reading time starts at 10:45 AM.

Answer Sheet Guidelines

Write your Unique ID, Index Number, and Subject on the top sheet of the main answer booklet.
Mention the same details on continuation booklets, graph papers, or maps if used.
Use both sides of the sheet unless otherwise instructed.
Leave a margin on both the left and right edges of the page.
Start each part of a question on a new line.

Answering the Paper

Follow the question numbering system as in the question paper.
Do not copy the questions into your answer sheet.
Attempt only the required number of questions as instructed in the paper.

During the Examination

If the paper requires a map, graph paper, or any other stationery, inform the examiner immediately if it is missing.
Stay seated until the exam concludes – students cannot leave the examination hall before the allotted time.
Read the general instructions carefully on the first page of the question paper before attempting answers.

ICSE Class 10 Exam Results

The ICSE 2025 exam results will be announced in May 2025, as per official CISCE notifications.
