IGNOU PhD Admission: The application process for PhD admission in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is underway. Interested students can apply online for PhD admission till November 20. Applications for PhD will not be accepted after November 20. Admission to PhD course in IGNOU will be given from the list prepared on the basis of 70% score of UGC NET and 30% interview score. This is how the selection will be done

Let us tell you that the list will be prepared on the basis of 70% score of UGC NET and 30% interview score. Candidates appearing in the list will be invited for interview. After that, admissions will be made in PhD on a total of 349 seats in more than 25 subjects.

21 in Psychology, 5 in Anthropology, 10 in History, 6 in Sociology, 10 in Bio Chemistry, 4 in Chemistry, 15 in Geography, 9 in Geology, 20 in Life Science, 4 in Physics, 8 in Statistics, 4 in Mathematics, 5 each in Hindi and Sanskrit, 7 in Development Studies, 15 in Computer Science, 16 in Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary, 20 in Environmental Studies, 12 in Social Work, 6 in Nutritional Science, 23 in Child Development, 3 in Rural Development, 10 in Home Science, 10 in Management, 11 in Commerce, 10 in Vocational Studies, 26 in Education, 2 in Fine Art, 8 in Theatre Art, 6 in Music, 5 in Dance, 8 in Gender and Development Studies, Tourism and Hospitality There will be admission on 6 seats in management and 19 seats in distance education.
