Sam Konstas In IND vs AUS 4th Test : Sam Konstas had no problem facing Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, for which credit can be given to his father who had made a small mistake during training in his childhood.
Konstas made a Test debut that will be talked about for a long time as he proved the talk about his talent right with a brilliant 60 off 65 balls in the Boxing Day Test on Thursday.
More than Konstas' runs, it was his fearlessness in facing world-class bowler Bumrah with the new ball that has made experts praise him.
Constas' brother Billy is a physiotherapist by profession. He revealed how their father's mistake helped his younger brother learn to tackle fast bowling from an early age.
"We were kids and the first time dad took us to the bowling machine he put it on 90 mph because he thought it was 90 kilometres," Billy told Fox Cricket.
"Dad started the machine and he hit the ball straight on the ball. I think it has always been his dream since the age of five or six. It is like a dream come true for the whole family and I thank God," he said.
Billy said, "I am a physiotherapist by profession. I asked him how many runs will you score tomorrow? So he told me 'Don't worry, I will score some runs'. He seemed very calm. " While Sam Constas seemed comfortable on the field, his family was very nervous.
