IND vs AUS : The Australian team suffered a major setback during the Brisbane Test. On the fourth day of the third Test, fast bowler Josh Hazlewood came on the field due to swelling in his calf but after a few overs he had to leave the field again. After the scan of the injury, now the news is coming that he will not be a part of this Test match. Along with this, he may also be out of the remaining Test matches.
Hazelwood was also out of the second Test in Adelaide due to injury. He spoke to captain Pat Cummins, Steve Smith and physio Nick Jones before leaving the field at the Gabba. Cricket Australia will announce his replacement soon.
Giving information about Hazelwood, Cricket Australia said, 'He has a strain in his right calf, due to which he will not be able to play further in the Test match against India in Brisbane. He may also miss the remaining two matches. In place of Hazelwood, Scott Boland may get a place in the playing eleven for the remaining matches. He had also replaced Hazelwood in Adelaide. Currently, both the teams are tied 1-1 in the 5-match Test series.
