IND vs AUS 3rd Test, Josh Hazlewood Return: Australia fast bowler Josh Hazlewood said he hopes to play in the upcoming Brisbane Test against India Hazlewood missed the ongoing day-night Adelaide Test due to a side strain, which led to Scott Boland replacing him in the playing XI. Hazlewood said he has ticked a few boxes already and has a few more to tick.

He said, "The body is feeling pretty good. I mean, there is a long gap between Tests, so it has given me a few more days to try and recover. I have ticked a few boxes so far this week, and hoping to tick a big one on the fourth day - bowl a few spells throughout the day and see how it goes. So, fingers crossed for that day."

"I bowled a bit on one of the main training days, and I was about 70 percent fit then. So, yesterday I ticked 80 to 90 percent in the nets and just kept building on that. This team has been a bit of a problem for me over the last couple of years. It's a slight strain; a few boxes ticked already and a few more to tick, so hopefully it'll be okay," Hazlewood told broadcaster Channel Seven during the dinner break.

Hazlewood also insisted that the current Australian set-up is one of the tightest it has ever seen, after his comments on day three of the Perth Test sparked divisions in the dressing room.

"It's probably one of the tightest set-ups I've been part of in my entire career. We know each other well. I think (my quote) has been taken in a slightly different context. It's probably like asking an opener to try and take 10 wickets the next day. You're not a big part of it. That was probably my thinking at the time from a No. 11 point of view. I think it could have been worded a bit better, but there's definitely no issue with the playing group."
