Chennai: The national selectors of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday retained the Indian team that defeated Bangladesh by 280 runs in the opening Test here for the second and final match to be played in Kanpur. The Indian team registered a big win in the opening session of the fourth day of the match on Sunday. The team may rest key fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah along with some other players in the next match considering its busy Test schedule.
According to a statement issued by BCCI, 'The men's selection committee has retained the same team for the second match of the IDFC First Bank Test series against Bangladesh.'
Yash Dayal can debut in Kanpur
Yash Dayal may get a chance in the second Test. Jasprit Bumrah and Siraj may be rested in the second Test. Yash Dayal may get a chance to make his Test debut on his state's home ground.
