IND A vs AUS A: Australia A pacer Brendan Doggett bowled brilliantly, taking six wickets to bundle out India A for just 107 on the first day of the first unofficial Test at Mackay. Opting to bowl first, Australia A made the most of the favourable conditions with Doggett leading the attack to cause a lot of damage to India's batting lineup.

Coming to the crease under cloudy skies, India A struggled from the start. Doggett dismissed opener Ruturaj Gaikwad for zero in the very first over, who was brilliantly caught on the leg side by wicketkeeper Josh Phillipe. This early dismissal laid the foundation for Doggett's relentless attack and he picked up five more wickets, including the crucial wickets of Ishan Kishan, Devdutt Padikkal, and Prasidh Krishna.

Ben Doggett wreaked havoc

With the Indian top and middle order under heavy pressure, Doggett maintained accuracy and pace and ensured that no batsman could settle down. Sai Sudharsan and Abhimanyu Easwaran tried to stabilize the innings but they too failed. Eventually, the team was all out for just 107 runs. Ben Doggett took an impressive 6 wickets.

Doggett's wicket-taking spree proved to be crucial in giving Australia A an early lead, ensuring India A never got into the groove. After bowling out India A for 107, Australia A has set a strong tone in the first unofficial Test and all eyes are now on their batsmen to make the most of this early lead.
