Yash Dhull Surgery : Indian cricketer Yash Dhull had to undergo heart surgery after a hole was found in his heart during a routine check-up by the National Cricket Academy (NCA) physiotherapist. Dhull was the captain of India's Under-19 team, which won the ICC Men's Under-19 World Cup in 2022. After this victory, he was talked about everywhere. He also came to the IPL but could not do anything special.
Life hasn't been easy for the 21-year-old Dhull as he had to undergo a heart surgery a few months ago on the advice of the NCA medical team. He was attending a camp in Bengaluru when the medical team noticed an anomaly. Despite the challenges, the youngster is positive about his comeback and is ready to give his all at the crease. He is currently playing in the Delhi Premier League.
Coach told the story of the comeback
Yash Dhull's childhood coach Pradeep Kochhar gave information about the surgery and the player's return to DPL 2024. He further said that Dhull has recovered well for the upcoming domestic season. "During the NCA check-up, the team, after consulting with the doctors, advised him to undergo surgery for a hole in his heart. He was attending a camp with the rest of the emerging players in Bengaluru a few months ago," Kochhar said.
Dhul will soon be back in full form
The coach further said that 'It was not a major surgery. It took him about 10 to 15 days to recover. He is not 100 percent fit in terms of his game and fitness, I would say he is about 80 percent fit, but fit enough. It was a small hole and had been there since birth, but it has been detected now. He will be back to his best form very soon.' Let us tell you that Dhul is currently playing for Central Delhi Kings in the first Delhi Premier League. He has scored a total of 93 runs in five innings at a strike rate of 113.41 in which his highest score has been 52.
