Terrorists Ambushed an Army Vehicle in Gulmarg: 2 jawans were martyred and 2 porters were also killed in an attack on an army vehicle near Botpathri in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir. The porters have been identified as 1- Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary resident of Nowshera Boniyar, Baramulla, and 2- Zahoor Ahmed Mir resident of Burnett Boniyar, Baramulla. According to media reports, this attack took place during movement from one post to another.
The incident comes shortly after terrorists shot and injured a laborer in Pulwama. The vehicle belonged to 18 Rashtriya Rifles (RR). When the terrorists attacked, the vehicle was coming from Botpathri, which is 5 km from the Line of Control (LoC). There has been a rise in attacks on non-local laborers in Kashmir recently, with the latest attack taking place on Thursday morning.
On Thursday, October 24, terrorists shot and injured a laborer from Uttar Pradesh in the Tral area of Pulwama district. On Sunday, six non-local laborers and a local doctor were killed in a terrorist attack on a construction site in Ganderbal district, while on October 18, terrorists shot and killed a laborer from Bihar in Shopian district.
