Jammu Kashmir News: Two policemen were found dead in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning. Bullet marks were found on their bodies. Officials suspect that both of them killed each other due to mutual enmity. Officials say that probably both the policemen fired bullets at each other, which led to their deaths.
According to the officials who reached the spot, the bullet-riddled bodies of the policemen were found inside the police van outside the Kali Mata temple in the district headquarters at around 6.30 am. He said that the police team reached the spot and the bodies were taken to the district hospital for post-mortem. Initial reports have revealed that both the policemen probably died due to firing on each other.
They shot each other with AK-47s
Udhampur SSP Amod Nagpure said that the bodies of two policemen have been found in the Rahmbal area. He said that these policemen were going from Sopore to the training center in Talwara. According to the initial investigation, it has been proved that an AK-47 rifle was used in the incident. Further investigation is going on.
