LK Advani Admitted to Apollo Hospital: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi, his condition is said to be stable at the moment, about a month after being discharged, LK Advani was again admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi on Tuesday i.e. 6 August.
According to sources close to the matter, 96-year-old Advani's condition is stable and he has been kept under observation. Advani has been admitted under the supervision of neurologist Dr. Vineet Suri. Advani was also admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences a few days before being admitted to Apollo Hospital last month.
He was awarded the highest civilian honor 'Bharat Ratna'
It is noteworthy that Advani was the Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004 and the Union Home Minister from 1999 to 2004. In March 2024, Advani was honored with the country's highest civilian honor Bharat Ratna by President Draupadi Murmu at his residence.
