AIBE 19 Exam 2024: In Bar Council of India vs Bonnie Foy Law College, 2023, a 5-judge bench of the Supreme Court had suggested that final year law students may be allowed to take the AIBE. In such a situation, the AIBE exam is scheduled for November 24, 2024. The court passed the above order challenging the decision of the Bar Council of India to exclude final-year law students from registration for AIBE. Students will be able to take the All India Bar Exam only in the last year of LLB.

The court had said that, in India, various recognized institutions offering law degrees often declare results at different times. Due to non-declaration of results, a person may lose the opportunity to appear in the All India Bar Examination. There is a fairly long gap without the opportunity to work in court proceedings.
