Maharashtra Assembly Elections: The date of Maharashtra Assembly elections is coming closer. Parties are making election promises in their own way. However, the 'Ladki Behen Yojana' implemented by the Maharashtra government just before the announcement of the assembly elections has become a noose around the neck of the opposition alliance 'Maha Vikas Vikas Aghadi'. In such a situation, the MVA has decided that it will not oppose this scheme during the election campaign.

Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) Working President Supriya Sule has said that the MVA alliance has no intention to oppose the Maharashtra government's flagship 'Ladki Behen Yojana', but she questioned the amount provided under the scheme given rising inflation. Under the Ladki Behen Yojana, women with an annual family income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh are given Rs 1500 per month as assistance.

1500 rupees is very little in inflation

Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule said, it all depends on how you look at it and who is saying it. She said, women are being given Rs 1,500 while oil prices, and food inflation are at their highest. Sales declined during Diwali and the state's GDP (gross domestic product) is also not good. Crimes against women have increased. Sule said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), an alliance of NCP (SP), Congress, and Shiv Sena (Shiv Sena) is not making any attempt to oppose the 'Ladki Behan Yojana'.

MVA will also provide security and health care to women

Supriya Sule said, the Congress government had come up with 'Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana' for women. We did not make a big deal about it. Needy people needed help, so the government came forward. We did not publicize it so much. Sule said that the MVA will ensure that along with the financial benefits women get, they are also provided facilities like health care and security. Sule also said that her party never had any problem with the Congress. We have been allies for 24 years and it is all going smoothly.
