A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, Gorakhpur, and Quest International University Malaysia to promote academic and research activities. The MoU was signed by Major General Dr. Atul Vajpayee, Vice Chancellor of Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, and Prof. Zeta Mohammad Fahmi, Vice Chancellor of Quest International University. Both the Vice Chancellors connected online and exchanged the MoU digitally after signing it.
Through this MoU, the main areas of cooperation between the two institutions include working on joint research projects in agriculture, biotechnology, pharma, and medicine, capacity building to meet current and future needs and enhance skills, student, faculty, and technical exchange, etc. Apart from this, the aim of both the institutions is to organize joint workshops and develop and implement development projects in the field of science and technology through this partnership.
Welcoming the agreement between the institutions, Major General Dr. Atul Vajpayee, Vice Chancellor of Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, Gorakhpur, said that Mahayogi Gorakhnath University has established its unique identity in the field of education. With this MoU, both the universities will give a new direction to the promotion of academic, research, and training-related activities. The students of Mahayogi Gorakhnath University will get an opportunity to understand the global environment of education on a wider scale, which will create new opportunities in the future through new innovations.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Quest International University Malaysia, Prof. Zeta Mohammad Fahmi expressed happiness over the MoU and said that both the universities have made a new beginning at the academic level today. There is full confidence that both the institutions will cooperate with each other in academic quality and write a new chapter with innovations in the field of education. Registrar of Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rao expressed happiness over the MoU and said that Mahayogi Gorakhnath University is committed to developing a new vision of research in higher education along with personality development of students. He said that students of both sides will get special benefits from this agreement. At the time of signing the MoU, MoU Coordinator and Dean of Agriculture Faculty Dr. Vimal Kumar Dubey, Principal of Nursing College Dr. DS Ajitha, Principal of Paramedical Rohit Srivastava and the Principal of Pharmacy Dr. Shashikant Singh were present at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University.
