Malwa Express Train Fire: Smoke was seen coming out from the wheels of the Malwa Express running between Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow) of Indore in Madhya Pradesh and Katra in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday and railway employees controlled it with a fire extinguisher. Eyewitnesses gave this information. The video of this incident has gone viral on social media.

Western Railway's Ratlam division public relations officer Khemraj Meena said that after the Malwa Express left Mhow station, the station master at Rau station saw smoke coming out from the wheels of this passenger train.

He said, 'The brake block of the wheels of one coach of the train got jammed due to heating up due to friction. The train was immediately stopped at the next station in Rajendra Nagar. The brake was repaired by cooling it with a fire extinguisher and the train was sent to its destination.'

There was no threat to the safety of any passenger travelling in the train

Describing it as a 'normal incident', Meena said that it did not pose any threat to the safety of any passeoner on the train. Many devotees from Madhya Pradesh reach Katra by Malwa Express and perform the pilgrimage of Vaishno Devi in ​​the city of Jammu and Kashmir.
