Manmohan Singh Health: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to the ICU ward of Delhi AIIMS. It is noteworthy that Manmohan Singh is 91 years old and has been the Prime Minister of the country twice. It is said that he has been facing health related problems for a long time and earlier also he had been admitted to the hospital many times due to health reasons.

While the AIIMS administration is not saying anything clearly yet, the emergency department says that they have been asked to remain on alert mode. On December 26, i.e. Thursday evening, his health suddenly deteriorated, after which the former Prime Minister was brought to the emergency department of AIIMS hospital.

According to AIIMS sources, his condition is critical, he is being treated by a team of multiple doctors, it is said that Manmohan Singh has a lung infection, he is currently being examined, he has been admitted after having trouble breathing. It is being said that Manmohan Singh has been kept on oxygen support in the ICU and he is being given CPRO, this is being told by sources.

Also served as Governor of RBI

Manmohan Singh is the only Prime Minister who has also served as the Governor of RBI. He was the Governor of RBI from 1982-1985. He is also credited for economic reforms as Finance Minister during the Prime Ministership of P.V. Narasimha Rao from 21 June 1991 to 6 May 1996.
