Rahul Gandhi : There is a ruckus over an article by Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi. In this article, he had claimed that even though the East India Company ended hundreds of years ago, the fear it had created is visible again today and a new generation of monopolists has taken its place. Now Rahul Gandhi has made a new claim. He has said that some business groups working according to the rules and regulations are being forced by a senior minister of the central government to praise the programs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government.
Rahul Gandhi wrote in a post on 'X', 'After my article, business groups that follow the rules told me that a senior minister is calling and forcing them to say good things about Prime Minister Modi and the government's programs on social media. Rahul Gandhi said that this proves his point absolutely right.
'Not against businesses, but against monopolies'
Earlier in another post, Rahul Gandhi said that he is not against businesses, but against monopolies. Let us tell you, the BJP had criticized Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday for making baseless allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and advised him to check the facts before reaching any conclusion. Rahul Gandhi released a video and said, efforts are being made by BJP people to portray me as anti-business. But I am not anti-business, but against monopolies.
'I support job creation'
Rahul Gandhi said that he is against monopoly in the industry by one, two, three, or five people. He said, I started my career as a management consultant. I understand the things necessary for the success of business. So I want to say clearly that I am not anti-business, I am anti-monopoly. I am in favor of job creation, I am pro-business, I am pro-innovation, I am pro-competition. I am anti-monopoly. Our economy will flourish only when there is a free and fair place for all businesses.
