NTPC electricity production: The country's largest power company NTPC Ltd. Electricity generation of 219.94 billion units grew 3.91 percent year-on-year in the first half of the financial year 2024-25. The company said in a statement on Tuesday that the capacity utilization (PLF) at NTPC's coal-based power plants stood at 76.3 percent in the April-September period this year.
NTPC has significantly increased its power generation, ensuring reliable power supply amid the ever-increasing demand for power in the country. NTPC is the largest integrated power company in the country.
It contributes 25 percent of the country's electricity needs. According to the statement, the company is committed to providing reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity in the country with thermal, hydroelectric, solar, and wind power plants.
